Enrollment Options

Horizon Academy is a fully accredited private school serving students in grades 1-12. Our programs are geared specifically to help bright children with learning disabilities gain the tools and strategies they need to overcome their challenges and become real world success stories.

Summer Programs:

• The summer school program matches Horizon Academy’s school year and runs from June 7th through July 2nd, 2010 from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm. During this time, students will have classes in reading, written and oral language, handwriting, math, and computers.
  

• The June and July summer clinics are power sessions that address reading, writing, math, and social skills needs of the students. These hour long clinics run Monday through Friday during the months of June and July.
  

Fall Programs:

• Our school year program's ultimate goal is to return each student to their traditional school armed with the skills necessary for academic and social success. Through innovative, instructional programs, small class sizes, and individual attention of highly qualified staff, Horizon Academy provides the only program of its kind in the Kansas City area.
  

• After School Clubs provide a variety of supervised activities to enhance the students' overall school experience.
